Job description

Working with a start-up team on cutting-edge 5G wireless spectrum  management and access products, this hands-on lead development role requires being able to independently architect, design, develop, deploy and maintain assigned projects in all phases of the project life cycle.  She or he will be required to design frameworks, components or sub-components and then follow through with the coding, testing and integration of the same. Should have the ability to work in a start-up environment where self-motivation, independence and team work are crucial.

 Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Brings Hands-on expertise in delivering System Software in SoA/Cloud architecture paradigms
  • Leads end-to-end product specifications and system requirements with ability to comprehend overall Solution architecture
  • Assists in assessing technologies & products to determine and/or recommend vendors & partners for end-to-end solution
  • Drives Software development projects within the latest development paradigms and frameworks
  • Preferably has an understanding of Wireless Technologies such as Wi-Fi and 4G (LTE)
  • Writes functional & design specifications, technical proposals, and white papers
  • Reports status against project plan
  • Drives automation in integration and QA testing
  • Prepares and present technical briefings to customers and senior management
  • Interfaces with other design teams to resolve design, implementation and deployment issues
  • Assists on defining future product architecture portfolio to address customer requirements
  • Qualifications:
  • Desired Skills and Experience
  • 7+ years of direct SW development & deployment experience
  • Deep understanding of SoA/Cloud architectures
  • Experience in implementing and consuming RESTful API endpoints
  • Experience in using IaaS and PaaS public cloud primitives to ensure availability, redundancy, scalability, and durability of cloud services
  • Strong understanding of state management and data consistency in distributed services.
  • Experience with test driven development and participating in CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience in managing Software projects
  • Understanding of Software development frameworks and paradigms specifically in the agile (scrum) development environment
  • Understanding of IP networks, IP mobility and Enterprise Services
  • Understanding of various 3GPP (preferably LTE) & IEEE wireless architectures desirable
  • Efficient in analyzing & debugging via various analysis tools to produce highest quality software implementation
  • Has created automated frameworks for testing end-to-end integration
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, diversified, and global environment
  • Master¹s or Ph.D Degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering
