We are currently recruiting for a Technical Architect with significant experience in delivering mobile applications to be an integral part of the Customer Delivery Team based out of Atlanta. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrate high levels of initiative and creativity. He or she will have significant experience managing large, cross-functional teams, and in working with Fortune 500 customers and associated vendors to provide cutting-edge, industry-leading mobile solutions.
Experience working with media companies would be a significant advantage.As the primary technical liaison with the customer for all aspects of the project including technical integration requirements and technical architecture, you will: ·Understand the customer’s goals and timelines ·Define the overall technical architecture for the mobile application that is being envisioned by the customer ·Provide the bridge between the customer and associated company internal teams ·Define the technical requirements for the implementation of the mobile solution ·Discuss with the customer technical aspects of the mobile application solution architecture, including technology used, methodology followed, and devices selected ·Prepare technical solutions and architecture presentations for the customer
Requirements and Skills: ·Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience (advanced degree a plus), and has demonstrated technical consulting experience in previous mobile consulting/delivery roles ·7+ years of technical consulting/delivery experience ·3+ years of implementing/delivering mobile projects ·Demonstrated track record of successfully leading mid-to-large-scale projects in one or more of the following areas: Handset platform implementation, wireless content systems implementation, mobile applications implementation, mobile internet portal implementation ·Exposure to one or more of the following mobile platform/environments: Windows Mobile, Android, iPhone, Blackberry and HTML5 ·Software development/coding background ·Experience working with off-shore development teams ·Good working knowledge of Java-based server technologies and different emerging frameworks. ·Good understanding and knowledge in Mobile Application development, as well as experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile network operators, and media companies ·Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written ·Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks ·Possess the ability to analyze requirements and propose appropriate solutions ·Must be self-starter, proactive and willing to learn & grow with the business ·Demonstrate a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving ·Willing to travel as needed to customer and partner locations
